This notice describes the features of this static website preview, rather than the previous website's tracking arrangements.
What this preview uses by default
No analytics or advertising pixels load by default. The supplied calculator-provider scripts load automatically on the mortgage calculator page unless you have turned those widgets off. The website's own navigation, testimonial and repayment-illustration scripts do not read or write cookies, local storage or session storage.
Images and styles are served with the website. There are no embedded social feeds, videos, maps, calendars or live-chat widgets. Navigation and the FAQ sections do not require persistent browser storage.
The on-site repayment illustration
The on-site repayment illustration runs in your browser. The figures are not sent to Dunedin Financial or saved by that illustration. It does not use them for marketing or profiling.
Optional calculator widgets
The mortgage calculator page also offers borrowing, repayment and Stamp Duty widgets supplied through mortgage-quote.me. These functional calculator widgets are on by default. You can switch them off separately using “Turn off calculator widgets”.
Loading the widgets connects your browser to the provider, which receives technical information such as your IP address and may process information you enter to produce its results. Dunedin Financial has confirmed that the calculator widgets do not set cookies or use browser storage.
When you turn the widgets off, this website saves the preference “dunedin-calculators-disabled” in your browser’s local storage, where available. It contains only your off choice, not calculator inputs or personal details. Turning the widgets on again removes that preference. If storage is unavailable, the off choice lasts for the current page only.
External booking, messaging and other websites
The appointment-request link takes you to the existing Google Forms form. WhatsApp and social-profile links also take you away from this preview. Those services are not loaded here as embedded content. The optional calculator widgets described above are different: they load on the calculator page by default unless you have turned them off.
Once you open an external destination, its own privacy notices, cookies and storage choices apply. Read the information provided there before submitting details. You can instead contact Dunedin Financial by telephone or email.
Your choices
Use the calculator widget controls to turn the widgets off or back on. While enabled, “Turn off calculator widgets” removes all three embedded tools and stops their activity in that page. Leaving or reloading the page does not turn the widgets off; your explicit off preference is respected when browser storage is available.
Turning off the widgets cannot recall information already sent to the provider. You can use your browser's settings to inspect, block or delete cookies and website data, including data from external services you choose to use.
You can use the separate on-site repayment illustration while the widgets are turned off. Telephone and email advice routes also remain available.
Website delivery and privacy
This notice concerns browser storage and the features described above; it is not a statement that website delivery involves no personal-data processing. The Privacy Policy is marked as a review draft while website-specific processing information is being reviewed.
